What can I wear to look sexy and classy on Valentine’s Day?

Despite not being a massive fan of Valentine’s Day, I do enjoy all the fluffy pink things and nice underwear around at this time of year. If you’ve managed to score a date, channel Fifty Shades of Grey the movie (thanks to Sam Taylor-Johnson, it’s a great example of adding class to something inherently trashy) and reveal a bit of flesh, but, tantalisingly, not too much. This dress does the job perfectly — I’ll obviously be wearing mine. Self-Portrait Azaelea lace dress, £240, at selfridges.com

PUMA Trinomic XS850 X Begins

These dreamy pink and turquoise sneakers have stolen my heart. Designed by Beijing-based streetwear label Begins and Puma, the Love Begins shoe stems from the idea that ‘love begins from a song’ (there’s even a little heart embroidered on the heel)… We can all live in hope, eh? Available from 14 February, £120 (uk.puma.com)
