8 of the best design workshops to take at London Craft Week 2018

From porcelain painting to Turkish tile making, it’s time to get your craft on

If your New Year’s resolution of taking up a hobby or two has fallen through, the upcoming London Craft Week could be the perfect excuse to pick it back up.

From creating your own artisan fragrance, to a crafting a pair of spectacles out of buffalo horn or stitching your own zippered cushion - the options are plentiful.

London Craft Week runs from May 9 to 13 and below are eight of the best workshops you can sign up for.

1. Painting Porcelain with Meissen at Thomas Goode

Love pretty things? Take this prime opportunity to paint your own piece of Meissen porcelain at Thomas Goode and take it home at the end of the night once fired.

6. Make Horn Spectacles at Cubitts

Learn how to cut a front, file and polish sustainably sourced buffalo horn into a pair of spectacles to make a unique pair of glasses.

7. Stencilling with Nature: A Natural Dyeing Workshop with La Serra MK Textile Atelier at Petersham Nurseries
