All hail R-Twigz (it was either that or Twiginson), the friend-but-maybe-more-ship of hipster pop star FKA Twigs and professionally pasty tween heart-throb Robert Pattinson. It's the incongruous celebrity coupling Crush has been waiting for. R-Patz had gradually dropped off our radar as he takes on more and more challenging roles and looks less and less swoonsome.
Crush is ashamed to say it spent the duration of the Twilight star’s latest ‘serious’ film, The Rover, hoping he’d get his kit off and suck some blood already! Sorry about that. Twigs (Tahliah Barnett to her mum), on the other hand, previously caught our attention with her sultry, hypnotic debut album LP1 and her sexy but, like, really arty-so-they’re-totally suitable-for-work music videos. So thank you, Twigs: you’re the missing piece in this puzzle, giving Rob the cred he has been searching for. Yes, it’s a weird and wonderful pairing — but, frankly, all the best are.
