Sleep under the stars in this bubble nestled in the Australian bush

The best way to see the beauty of a clear-night sky – without the risk of any creepy crawlies
1/6

Australia is known for two things: beautiful scenery and its unique wildlife.

Whilst many associate the land Down Under with cute-looking animals, like the koala and kangaroo, others know it for its slightly less cosy creatures. In cities like Sydney and Melbourne, for instance, you can expect to find cockroaches and huntsman spiders, hanging out in your living room after you leave the door open on a hot summer’s day.

And into the bush, you'll find many more. Snakes are commonplace, as are giant centipedes, lizards and honey bees. Whilst many won't be put off remotely by the prospect of coming face to face with these extraordinary creatures, others might find themselves slightly hesitant.

And yet, camping in Australia’s bush is one of life’s bucket-list activities...

Enter Bubbletent. Located in Capertree Valley, Bubbletent Australia allows you to take glamping to the next level - by staying overnight in a clear dome. This enables you to see all the incredible sites and creatures of the great Australian outback from the secure cocoon of your very own bubble.

The three clear ‘bubbles’ are each 11 metres in diameter and come equipped with all the regular creature comforts – a queen-sized bed with goose down pillows, a telescope for stargazing, hot chocolates, champagne flutes and eye masks in case the moon is too bright.

One of the bubbles even comes with an outdoor wood-fired hot tub. Yes, please.

While you could use this as a chance to unplug, if you simply must Instagram the whole adventure, you’ll find a Bluetooth speaker, USB chargers and an in-tent iPad with a stargazing app and Spotify already loaded on it.

There is also an attached (covered) bathroom which comes with a toilet and sink.
