Cool stay of the week: a luxury treehouse in the Welsh countryside

This week we retreat to a dreamy treehouse in Wales
1/8

Perched on stilts in the middle of the Welsh countryside, you’ll find the Heartwood Treehouse, a romantic pad made for two.

The modern, light and airy cabin is nestled on the edge of a rural hamlet, and inside you’ll find rustic wood accents, fluffy rugs, ornate mirrors, large windows, plush throws and tree trunk table.

By day, sit on your balcony and soak up the uninterrupted country views and fresh air before cooking yourself a meal in the kitchen and watching the crimson sunset.

By night sink into the outdoor hot tub or curl up next to the fire with a glass of red wine before retiring to your king-size bedroom.

The chic bathroom comes with underfloor heating and a walk-in rain shower and you’ll find a deep tub in the bedroom for those extra-long soaks.

Just an hour’s drive away you’ll find the Snowdonia National Park primed for hiking and the charming town of Welshpool is close by too, just waiting to be explored.

Where: Powys, Wales
