Dozens of costumes and accessories from Michael Jackson's wardrobe are on display from today at Westfield Stratford City in the only UK stage of a worldwide tour.

Many pieces have not been seen since the singer, who died aged 50 in 2009, wore them on stage or screen. They are from the collection of Michael Bush and Dennis Tompkins, who designed his costumes for 25 years.

Highlights of The Collection of Tompkins and Bush: Michael Jackson Wardrobe include a crystal-covered glove, the Scream video outfit and the helmet from the King of Pop’s 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Gardens.

Tompkins died in December. Bush, 54, who lives in Los Angeles, said: “Michael gave all of these pieces back to us. Now felt like the right time to share it with his fans.”

The collection is at Getty Images Gallery until November 4. Tickets are £10 at ticketmaster.co.uk
