Louis Tomlinson splits from girlfriend Eleanor Calder as he is pictured kissing mystery woman at Thailand pool party

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has confirmed he has split from his long-term girlfriend as he was pictured kissing a mystery woman at a pool party.

The singer, 23, had been dating 22-year-old Eleanor Calder for four years.

But today the pair were revealed to have parted ways, as pictures emerged of him kissing a woman at a pool party Thailand, according to reports in the The Sun.

Neither Louis or Eleanor have indicated that they might no longer be an item in their Twitter and Instagram posts, which are followed by millions of One Direction fans.

But a spokesman for Louis confirmed the split to the MailOnline, saying: "Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago. They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time."

The news comes as pictures were published of Louis' bandmate Zayn Malik, who is engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, cosying up to another woman.

He strongly denied suggestions that he had been cheating on his fiancée, writing on Twitter; ""I'm 22 years old ... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there's a lot of jealous f***s in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x".

He later announced he was quitting the One Direction world tour due to stress.

He was set to return home to the UK after being signed off by a doctor and will miss the band's performances in Manila and Jakarta.
