A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of two six-year-old girls at Legoland.

The suspect is accused of “touching the victims inappropriately” at the theme park in Windsor on Thursday.

The alleged offence happened as the girls played in Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores.

The man, from Bracknell, was arrested on Wednesday and is in police custody.

Thames Valley Police had released an e-fit of the suspect and were appealing for the public's help to find the man.

Investigating officer, Detective Penny Mackenzie of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, said:“I would like to reiterate that such offences are extremely rare.

"We are conducting a detailed investigation and working closely with Legoland."
