A retired accountant allegedly killed by a prostitute was an obsessive man who wrote down the chest sizes of escorts so he could “compare his purchases,” a court heard today.

The body of Winston Fernandez, 69, lay undiscovered for almost a month at his Epsom home. Russian escort Natalia Woolley, 38, is accused of beating him to death.

Former escort Emma Johnson told Guildford crown court she went to his house four times. Ms Johnson, who worked as Emily Jane at the Diamonds agency, described Mr Fernandez as a lonely drinker, adding: “He would have to write down how long you had been there. I thought he may have had a bit of OCD but not done to the extreme.

“He was quite open that he was seeing other escorts. He would write down on a piece of paper the names and chest sizes and compare what he had purchased.”

Woolley, who charged £600 a night and described herself online as “alluring to all men and incredibly sexy”, is said to have flown into a rage after an argument over her services. She repeatedly kicked, punched and stamped on her client before cutting the phone lines and leaving him for dead, it is alleged.

She told police she was defending herself when Mr Fernandez tried to force her to perform sexual acts.

She is said to have left the house in Longdown Lane North in the early hours of January 17. The body was not found until February 13.

Ms Johnson said Mr Fernandez, a widower, was in a poor physical state and would “shuffle along”. Earlier, his former gardener David Evans told the court he appeared lost and depressed after the death of his wife.

Woolley, of West Kensington, denies murder. The case continues.
