Barking stabbing: Teenager fighting for life after east London knife attack

A teenager is fighting for life in hospital after being repeatedly stabbed in east London.

Police found the victim, thought to be about 16, suffering knife wounds in Longbridge Road, Barking, just before 15.15pm on Friday.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition, according to MPS Barking.

A Section 60 order granting officers extra stop and search powers has been issued until 10pm.

There have been no arrests.
