Birmingham shooting: Man killed and two others hurt in Ladywood gun attack

A man has been killed and two others were injured in a shooting in Birmingham.

The victim, 23, was fatally wounded in the Ladywood area of the city shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.

Two other men, aged 19 and 20, were rushed to hospital for treatment following the incident in St Vincent Street West.

Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, West Midlands Police said.

Detectives launched an investigation into the gun attack and extra police officers were deployed in the area last night.

No arrests had been made over the killing and witnesses were asked to come forward.
