Appeal after motorcyclist, 34, dies in collision in Barnet

Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died in a collision in Barnet on Wednesday.

Officers were called to the crash on the westbound carriageway of the Staples Corner flyover near to Brent Cross at at 8.18pm and found a 34-year-old man who had come off his bike.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and no arrests have been made.

Police on Thursday appealed for witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident.

They would particularly like to hear from those who were travelling on the eastbound carriageway around that time.
