Brent stabbing: Man fighting for life in hospital after being knifed in north-west London

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed in north-west London.

Police and paramedics were scrambled to the scene in Rainborough Close, Brent, at about 10.20pm on Thursday.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found suffering stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

A crime scene remained in place overnight as officers continued to investigate the stabbing.

It came after a man was shot in a “machine gun” attack just over a mile away in Stonebridge at 8.30pm in a separate incident.

The victim, also believed to be in his 20s, was in a critical condition in hospital.
