A teenager is fighting for life after a late night triple shooting in Brixton.

Three people were injured after being shot on Somerleyton Road just after 11pm on Wednesday night.

Officers first discovered a woman and a man suffering from gunshot wounds before rushing them to hospital.

Shortly after, a man attended a south London hospital suffering gunshot wounds. Police say he is now in a life-threatening condition.

Video posted on social media showed the flashing lights of emergency services vehicles as police swarmed the area after the shooting.

Police say neither of the first two victims' injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incidents at this stage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
