North London stabbing: Murder probe launched after teenager is stabbed to death in Camden

A murder probe has been launched after a male was knifed to death in north London.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing at the Munster Square estate in Camden on Monday night.

The victim, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 11.10pm.

No arrests have been made.

Footage from the scene showed officers guarding the street as a police tape blocked off surrounding roads.

Scotland Yard confirmed a murder investigation had been launched.

“A murder investigation is underway following a stabbing in Camden,” it said in statement:

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male – no further details – was pronounced dead at the scene.”

“Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.”

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call police on 101 quoting the reference CAD8433/12Aug.
