A group of youths stabbed a dog to death in a “senseless attack” after it went to sniff them on a west London housing estate.

The Staffordshire bull terrier cross, named Chaos, was being walked by his owner through an alleyway on Havelock Estate in Southall.

Eight-year-old Chaos ran up to sniff a group of six to eight youths befored they allegedly attacked him with a flick-knife.

His devastated owner flagged down a nearby car and rushed the dog to the RSPCA’s Animal Hospital in Putnye but the dog died before he arrived.
