A man is due to appear in court charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a block of sheltered flats in west London.

The body of Ravinder Jutla, 43, was discovered at the apartment in Eaton Rise, Ealing on Wednesday night.

The flats are mainly used by disabled people.

Police are said to have found Ms Jutla dead in her room.

A post-mortem examination has begun at Uxbridge Mortuary to establish how she died, Scotland Yard said today.

Alex Springer, 49, of Eaton Rise, Ealing will appear before Uxbridge Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with her murder.
