A teenager was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the back in east London.

The 19-year-old man was knifed in Hackney Wick on Friday night.

He was found with knife wound to the back at about 11.45pm on Lee Conservancy Road.

A spokesman for the metropolitan police said: “The man was taken to an east London hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.

“Officers from Hackney CID are investigating and their Enquiries are ongoing.”

No arrests have been made.
