A man wanted in connection with the murder of a student after a So Solid Crew gig has been arrested in Nigeria.

Adebayo Ekun, 38, is believed to have been involved in the killing of Marcus Hall, 18, of Peckham, who was stabbed, beaten and stamped on following the performance at the Atmosphere nightclub in Luton.

He was arrested in Nigeria yesterday and remains in custody awaiting extradition back to the UK, a spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said.

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit is working with the National Crime Agency in Nigeria to carry out the extradition process.

Seven men were convicted between 2002 to 2003 for the part they played in the murder.
