A man was today seriously injured in hospital after being stabbed near a major music venue in west London.
The victim was attacked on Shepherd's Bush Road close to the Shepherd's Bush Empire, just before 1am today.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics for further treatment but his condition was not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Detectives were this morning hunting for his attacker after investigating at the scene.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "Police were called to reports of a man stabbed in Shepherd's Bush Road at 12:45am today. He was taken to hospital in a non-life-threatening condition. His age is not yet known. There have been no arrests".
Police closed the road between Shepherd's Bush Green and Westwick Gardens but it has since re-opened.
