A man and a woman are to appear in court over the murder of a man whose body was discovered on fire in south London.

Loeike Guei, 23, was found dead in Mitcham just after 6am on September 17.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene on Commonside East following reports of a man on fire.

A post-mortem examination gave a head injury as the preliminary cause of death.

Michael Brain, 27, of Eyston Drive, Weybridge, and Sophia Kokkinos 69 of Chelsham Road, Clapham, were charged with Mr Guei's murder on Thursday night.

They are due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court later on Friday.

Three other men have previously been charged in connection with the 23-year-old's death.
