Baby P's mum Tracey Connelly has been sent back to prison after she was apparently discovered trying to sell pornographic images of herself to perverts obsessed with her notoriety.

The 34-year-old was released on licence in October 2013 after serving five years behind bars for allowing her 17-month-old son to be tortured to death.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Authorities believe she was uploading images of herself and trying to flog them - possibly to sick perverts getting a kick out of her notoriety.

"It doesn't get any more depraved that this. She clearly wasn't ready to be released into the community."

It means Ms Connelly has breached the terms of her parole, leading to her being recalled to prison yesterday.

Her son Peter Connelly was found dead in his cot at Ms Connelly's Tottenham flat in 2007, having suffering multiple injuries including a broken back.

Her partner Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen were jailed for the killing, which led to an investigation into whether Baby P had been failed by child protection services at Haringey Council.

A spokesman for The Ministry of Justice said: "Offenders on licence are subject to strict controls and conditions and are liable to be recalled to prison if they breach them."
