Murder squad detectives investigating the disappearance of a young father-to-be today announced a £20,000 reward in an attempt to break a “wall of silence”.

Mohammed Shah Subhani, 27, who is known as Shah Khan, went missing from his west London home on May 7.

Police today said they feared his disappearance could be linked to criminality and revealed that after he lost his job as a courier, he may have started to deal cannabis.

Detectives say his white Audi Q3 has also vanished after it was last caught on a CCTV camera in Hounslow at 3.17pm on the day he vanished.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said: “I believe that Mohammed has got out of his depth in some kind of criminal activity.

“There is a wall of silence and we need people to come forward and tell us what they know.”

He said there was information that Mr Subhani was in debt but he had been due to collect nearly £10,000 on the day he disappeared.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
