Police have launched a murder hunt after a man was shot dead outside a pub in west London early today.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to The Swan in Harrow Road, Sudbury Town at 12.10am to reports of a shooting.

Officers and paramedics found a man in his 20s suffering gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police know the man’s identity and were informing his family this morning.

There were no arrests and police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
