A legal secretary savagely beaten by three girl gangsters on the night of the royal wedding told today how the attack has left her traumatised.
Victim Daniela H spoke out after the last teenager convicted over the attack was told she faced prison.
She was walking home to Kensal Rise from a wedding party with her flatmate shortly after midnight on April 30 last year when the gang knocked a take-away pizza from her friend’s hands.
When they remonstrated, the girls turned on them “like a pack”. Daniela, 41, said she felt it was “raining fists” during the 10-minute beating which left her a “bloodied mess”.
She said: “It seemed to last for ever. I was on the ground just wanting to sleep so the pain would stop.” The assault only ended when a police car pulled up and the pair were taken to A&E.
Flatmate and colleague Birgit H was also severely injured. Daniela spent months recovering.
She said: “I love this area. It’s where all my friends are but as long as I’m here I can’t forget so I’m leaving London.”
Kalee Powell, 18, of Northolt, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of assault and affray. Judge Stephen Kramer, QC, adjourned sentencing until next month and told her: “Understand clearly that all options are open to me.”
Precious Gordon, 19, of Kensal Rise, also awaits sentence after admitting the same offences. A girl of 16 pleaded guilty to similar charges last May and was given a community sentence.
