Owen Jones: Three men charged after Guardian columnist attacked outside London pub

Three men have been charged following an assault on left-wing journalist Owen Jones at a pub in London.

James Healy, 39, of Portsmouth, Liam Tracey, 34, of Camden and Charlie Ambrose, 29, of Brighton have been charged by postal requisition with ABH and affray over the incident at The Lexington public house on August 17.

They will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 6 November.

The Guardian columnist, 35, had been out celebrating his birthday with friends when he was set upon by a group of men.
