Police are hunting for a female mugger who attacked a pregnant woman in west London.

The 31-year-old victim was slapped across the face before her attacker rifled through her bag, stealing her purse and phone.

She was targeted on Costons Avenue at the junction with Greenford Road in Greenford at about 9.35am on Wednesday.

Detectives today released CCTV pictures of a woman they want to question in connection with the robbery.

The prime suspect is black, 5'5", aged between 35 and 40, with short dark hair. She was wearing a long brown and beige coat with black leggings and a multi-coloured headscarf.
