This is the e-fit image of a man police want to trace in connection with a sexual attack on a woman in the street in south-east London.

The woman, who is in her twenties, was walking along Lee High Road when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and assaulted her.

The victim pushed the man away after the incident at about 4.30pm on September 12 and he then continued walking towards Brandram Road.

The attacker is described as white, in his twenties, about 5ft 6in tall with gelled-back wavy brown hair. He was wearing a light grey matching tracksuit with motif on the left hip and carrying a rucksack.

Pc Ben Turner, of Lewisham CID, said: “Do you recognise the man in the e-fit we have released? If you do, please contact us. Your information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”

Anyone with information should call PC Turner on 020 8284 8365 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
