Police are hunting for a man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl on a bus in south west London.

The 17-year-old victim was attacked as she travelled on a H22 bus from Hospital Bridge Road and Twickenham town centre at about 9am on July 1.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Roads and Transport Policing Command unit today released a picture of a man seen on CCTV who they want to question over the incident.

Police want to speak to a man aged between 30 to 40 years of age with short black hair.

He was of Mediterranean appearance and spoke with a foreign accent, a spokesman for Scotland Yard said.

Anyone with information can contact DC Teresa Moore on 0207 027 9432 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference 183974.
