Police have launched an appeal to catch a gang of peckish thieves who cooked themselves a pizza during a burglary at university hall.

Thames Valley Police, on Friday, released CCTV images of four men wanted over the bizarre incident.

The gang broke in to University of Reading halls and stole items including a digital camera and Bluetooth speakers.

They then cooked a pizza and helped themselves to students' food stored in a communal kitchen, detectives said.
