Police investigating the death of a man found on a first floor roof discovered two dead bodies when they arrived at a flat to inform the victim's next of kin.
Scotland Yard said officers were called shortly after 1pm on Friday to reports of man found unresponsive on a first floor roof on Westbourne Park Road.
The 30-year-old, who is yet to be named by police, was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is being treated as unexplained.
Twenty-four hours later, police attended an address at Landor House, on the same road, to inform next of kin.
When they arrived police discovered the bodies of a man and a woman, who are thought to have died in suspicious circumstances, leading police to launch a murder inquiry.
Scotland Yard said officers were not hunting any suspects in connection with the incident at this stage.
No arrests have been made but enquiries continue, police said.
