Police swarmed on a house in south-west London after receiving reports of a man with a gun.

Officers were called to an address in Fontarabia Road, Wandsworth, at about 10.50am on Sunday.

A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and has been taken to a south London police station.

He remains in custody.

Firearms officers and the National Police Air Service attended the incident.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “There are no reported injuries. No shots were fired. Enquiries continue. The incident is not terrorist-related.”
