Riding a bicycle and remembering to wear his safety helmet, this man tries his luck breaking into an unlocked car parked on a London driveway.
He is wanted by police in Sutton after footage shows him apparently taking valuables in an early morning theft on Grange Road.
The cyclist first cruises by the property and then swings around and pulls his bike on to the driveway.
With this red sleeve pulled down over his hand to avoid leaving fingerprints he tries a door handle of the black 4x4 and notices it is unlocked.
After peeking inside he dismounts, parks his bike up and checks the coast is clear before opening the boot and snatching a TomTom satnav and a pair of prescription sunglasses.
But then he spots the CCTV camera mounted on the roof of the house and tries to hide his face as he tiptoes towards the house.
He sneaks back into shot and gets on his bike, remembering to look both ways before riding off.
It happened on Sunday morning at about 5.50am.
The householder, who asked not to be named, said: “It was shocking to find our car had been stolen from and that the thief was clearly riding around the area looking for cars to steal from with absolutely no fear that he’d get caught.”
A spokesman for Sutton police said officers were investigating a theft from a vehicle and asked anyone with information to call Sutton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
