Police release e-fit of man after woman attacked in Croydon

Police have released an e-fit of a man after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking alone in Croydon.

Officers said the woman was walking along Heathfield Rd about 1am, on November 21 last year, when she was grabbed by a man who sexually assaulted her.

She ran away before calling police. Officers searched for the man but could not find him. He is believed to have left in the direction of South End.

The man was believed to be eastern European and is described as being approximately 5ft 6ins tall and aged in his 30s. He was wearing a black jacket and had short cropped hair.

Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 559/21Nov21. To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
