Police have released shocking footage of a mass brawl which broke out in a busy west London street on a Sunday afternoon.

The fight escalated when several men seemingly stepped in to defend a 33-year-old man who had been attacked while walking down the road.

In the CCTV clip released today, a man in shorts and a T-shirt can be seen punching the 33-year-old, twice knocking him to the ground, before kicking him in the back.

A group of men then emerge from a shop, take off their jackets and start brawling with the attacker and his friends, as the chaos spills out into the road.

The incident happened in Greenhill Way, Harrow, outside Debenhams between 1.10pm and 1.30pm on Sunday, July 26.
