Two teens arrested after horror double stabbing in Shadwell

Two teenagers have been arrested after a double stabbing in Shadwell.

Police rushed to Cable Street at 4.17pm on Friday after reports of an attack near Shadwell DLR Station.

Two males, believed to be teenage boys, were found with stab wounds. They were taken to hospital and remain in stable condition.

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. Both remain in custody at an east London police station.

Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5756/16Jun. To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
