Two men have been charged with murder after a plumber was stabbed to death in Southall.

Mohamed Afzal, 38, collapsed in the street outside an MOT centre after being attacked on Wednesday evening.

Police were called to Trinity Road just before 7.50pm to reports of a man who had been stabbed, Scotland Yard said.

He was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but died just before midnight.

Gaurav Sharma, 33, of no fixed address and Jaswinder Singh, 27, of Saxon Road, Southall, are due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court today.

Mr Afzal was one of four men to be stabbed within 24 hours in the capital this week.
