Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a 28-year-old charity worker was stabbed to death on his doorstep in Maida Vale.

Abdul Samad died in hospital an hour after being knifed outside his home in Little Venice on October 16.

Police have now charged Nathan Gilmaney, 18, and a 17-year-old male with murder.

They were also charged with the robbery and attempted robbery of two other men on nearby streets. All three incidents took place on the same evening.

The pair will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning.

Mr Samad had worked for charity Dragon Hall Trust helping young Londoners develop their computer skills, his brother Abdul Ahad said.

A post-mortem examination gave his cause of death as a stab wound to the chest, police said.
