Man, 33, fighting for life after being shot with crossbow in Uxbridge

A 33-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being shot with a crossbow in west London.

He was found with an arrow wound to the stomach on Copperfield Avenue, Uxbridge, at around 8pm on Monday, police said.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.

His condition is said to be life-threatening.

There have been no arrests.

Cordons remain in place in the area and enquiries continue.
