A young man was today fighting for his life after a double stabbing in south London.

The 26-year-old victim was rushed to a south London hospital after the attack in Mitcham shortly before midnight on Tuesday.

Another man was also treated for knife wounds after the attack in the cul-de-sac of Rock Close.

The second victim’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Scotland Yard said no arrests have been made.

Witnesses should call police on 101 quoting CAD 10010/july23 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
