A 12-year-old boy has died after being hit by a motorbike near his home.

Qusai Alomar was left fighting for his life following the road accident in Sudbury, north west London.

Police were called to the tragedy shortly after 5pm on September 16 and the child was rushed to hospital.

Qusai died from his injuries three days later and his family are being supported by specialist officers.

Detectives are appealing for information following the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene.

“Qusai was taken to hospital where he sadly died on Sunday, September 19.

“The rider of the motorcycle stopped at the scene.”

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
