Bus smashes into front of Walthamstow house

Hannah Al-Othman15 April 2016

Residents of a house in Walthamstow were lucky to escape injury last night when a bus ploughed into the front room.

The bus veered off Blackhorse Road into the front of the terraced property just after 10pm on Thursday.

It crashed through a low wall before smashing into the house's front window.

The London Ambulance Service treated the bus driver at the scene for minor injuries, and nobody else there were no other reported injuries.

There were reportedly no passengers were on board the bus at the time of the collision.

The occupants of the house were said to be home at the time, but escaped without injury.
