This was the scene after a car reversed through the front of a convenience store in north-west London.

Witnesses reported a "loud crash" after the apparent mishap in Northwood Hills on Saturday night.

Restaurant-owner Joseph Harb told GetWestLondon: "I was just chatting to a friend when suddenly I saw the car reverse into the shop.

"There was a crashing noise and the security guard from the Wax nightclub ran over.

"He took the girl out of the car, she was pretty shaken."

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said there were no reported injuries and no arrests after the incident at Northwood Food & Wine in Joel Street at around 10.20pm on Saturday.
