It is Wimbledon’s Centre Court, but not as tennis fans usually know it.

In these surreal images the All England Club’s famous green laws are transformed into a lavender colour, the traditional white kit worn by tennis players is now blue and ivy clinging to Centre Court is an odd white colour.

The photographs were taken with an infrared camera during the second week of the Wimbledon tournament.

In another image tennis courts four to 11 and surrounding trees are bright turquoise colours, making it look as if the tennis players are scoring points on another planet.

The camera makes it look as if Maria Sharapova is playing under a murky sky, instead of the sunny weather London has been experiencing this week.

The men and ladies’ single finals are set to take place this weekend.
