A group of daredevil youths broke into Twickenham stadium under the cover of darkness and clambered across the roof.

Rikke Brewer, 18, and two accomplices scaled the south-west London ground late on Friday evening without being stopped by security.

In nail-biting footage, the boys are seen using a table outside a burger van to jump over the fence and gain access.

After watching the sunset from the roof, the group clambered down and filmed themselves performing flips on the pitch.

Rikke and his friends previously climbed to the top of one of Britain’s tallest rollercoasters after dark in Thorpe Park.

After escaping with a caution and a two-year ban from the Surrey theme park on Easter Sunday, three teenagers were arrested at Twickenham following their latest stunt on Saturday morning.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said officers were called to the stadium at 6am and that two 18-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

After being detained, the teenagers were given a caution. Police said another suspect got away.

The Met spokeswoman said: “Two men aged 18 had been detained by security staff on suspicion of criminal damage to the pitch.

“A third man had made off and was not found.”

Mr Brewer, who posted the video on his own YouTube channel, and pictures on his Facebook and Instagram, claims he was in a cell for 14 hours after being arrested.

Rugby Football Union (RFU), which looks after Twickenham Stadium, said they are assessing security protocols after the shocking incident.

An RFU spokewoman said: “We are aware of an incident involving intruders at the stadium on the weekend and are assessing all of our security protocols. Two people were arrested.

“We are working closely with the police on their investigation.”
