Dollis Hill fire: Two people taken to hospital after house fire in north London

Two people have been rushed to hospital after a semi-detached house went up in flames in a north London suburb.

Ten fire engines and around 50 firefighters were called to the blaze on Fleetwood Road in Dollis Hill, Brent, shortly before 2.21am on Thursday morning.

A semi-detached house was completely alight at the fire’s height, said firefighters.

Eight people left the property before the Fire Brigade arrived, two of whom were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

The fire was deemed under control by 4.27am. Crews from Willesden, West Hampstead, Park Royal and surrounding stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
