Police desperate to identify man found injured on railway tracks in Hampton Wick

Police are searching for the identity of a mystery man who was found lying on the tracks at a south west London railway station.

Detectives are releasing two images of the shaven headed man still being treated in hospital for life-changing injuries following the fall at Hampton Wick station.

Officers rushed to the station served by South Western Rail following reports of a casualty on the tracks at 10.33am on May 3.

Paramedics took the man to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious, but officers have been so far been unable to identify the man and his family.

The man is described as white, in his 40s, with short dark shaven hair and facial hair. He also has a number of large and distinctive tattoos on his chest and arms.
