Doctor Who star Karen Gillan is among the British actresses photographed at London landmarks as part of a government-backed campaign to encourage investment in the UK.

Gillan, above, wears lace PVC boots and leans on a policeman at No 10 as part of the GREAT campaign, showcasing “the very best” of Britain.

Lily James (Downton Abbey) and Oona Chaplin (grand-daughter of Charlie Chaplin) also feature in October’s Marie Claire, out on Thursday.
