London’s most expensive flatshare boasting chandeliers, a dining hall and gym is being advertised online to rent for more than £21,000 a month.

The three bedroom apartment, located in Hyde Park Gate, will set back each tenant £1,783 a week and is 10 times more expensive than the average flatshare in the capital.

The 3,500 sq ft Victorian property will appeal to those seeking a bit of luxury with a daily clean and linen service, 12 seat dining hall, Sky TV and en-suite bathrooms all included in the price.

Renters will also be able to take advantage of the fully equipped gym, balconies overlooking Hyde Park and roof terraces.

A description on spareroom.co.uk said: “Looking out across the leafy expanses of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, these grand private residences were built to accommodate London’s elite. It’s a theme that continues to this day.

Matt Hutchinson, director of the Spareroom, said the advert is the most expensive listing the flatshare site has ever had.

He told the Sunday Times: “It’s widely thought that housing costs should be no more than a third of your income, so with an annual rent of £92,716, tenants would need to be taking home over £500,000 before tax.”
