Lindsay Lohan attends Women of the Year lunch to celebrate courageous women

Actress Lindsay Lohan was among hundreds of guests at an annual event to celebrate women who have shown perseverance and courage.

Also at the the Women of the Year lunch at the InterContinental London on Park Lane were Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Fahma Mohamed, who won Outstanding Young Campaigner of the Year, author Carole Stone and singer Kimberly Wyatt.

Other winners included cook Jack Monroe, who won the Enterprise Award, and Joanne Thompson, who was awarded Inspirational Woman of the Year.

Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, president of Women of the Year, said: “I am particularly proud to be President of Women of the Year at its 60th lunch, the first of its kind to recognise and celebrate women who have made remarkable achievements.

“Each attendee and every award winner is special and deserves every ounce of recognition for not only their success, but also their determination to make a real difference.”
